Dog Walk with Williams Dog Shelter on October 25
Volunteer dog walk at Williams Dog Shelter — a shelter in the Pareklisia area, home to about 350 dogs.
Williams Dog Shelter is a dog shelter in the Pareklisia area. Currently, around 350 dogs live there, many of whom were rescued from abuse or life on the streets.
We are gathering at the shelter on October 25 from 10 AM to 12 PM to walk the dogs, spend time with them, and provide what is especially important for animals in the shelter: attention, care, and contact with people.
The shelter has both large and small dogs, and volunteers will help everyone find a suitable walking partner.
The shelter also needs food, water, medicine, and supplies.
Needs of the shelter:
• large cans of dog food (Lidl, Sklavenitis, Smart, etc.)
• Allopurinol 300 mg tablets (human pharmacy)
• thick garbage bags (approximately 100 liters)
• collars in sizes L–XL
• leashes
• used towels, blankets, covers, sheets
• assistance with veterinary bills
P.S. If you need a participation certificate, please contact project coordinator Maria in advance.
